Can you get an urgent Vietnam eVisa on a Saturday or Sunday?

Updated

Yes, if you are outside Vietnam when you order. InTimeVisa takes weekend orders from on Friday to on Sunday, Vietnam time (ICT, UTC+7). Order and pay by on a Saturday or Sunday and the delivery target is the same day. The price is US$250 single entry or US$275 multiple entry, government fee included. You upload your passport page, a portrait photo and your flight ticket with the order. This is a published window, not a guaranteed processing time, and the Immigration Department still decides every application.

Do you need the weekend tier?

It is our dearest tier, so work back from your flight in Vietnam time.

If you board before on Monday, only the weekend tier has a target in time. If you board later, the 1 working day tier has the same Monday target when you pay by on Monday, for US$90 single or US$115 multiple entry. You can place that order during the weekend. Leave a margin before your flight, because a target can slip.

Check whether you need a visa at all. Japan, South Korea, the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain are among the countries with 45 visa-free days. US, Canadian, Australian, Chinese and Indian passports are not on those lists. The full list is at Vietnam visa-free countries and the 45-day exemption and the nationalities we serve are at InTimeVisa nationality service policy.

What you upload with a weekend order

Three files are required, and the form will not send the order without all three. If one fails to upload, you stay on the form and resend only that file. Type your name, passport number and date of birth exactly as the passport shows them.

  • Passport photo page: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 8 MB.
  • Portrait photo: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 8 MB.
  • Flight ticket: a photo or a PDF, up to 8 MB.

How to order

  • Between on Friday and on Sunday ICT, open the application form and choose Weekend.
  • Confirm that you are outside Vietnam and fill in your details.
  • Upload the three files.
  • Pay. Visa or Mastercard through PayPal checkout usually confirms at once. A Remitly or bank transfer counts when the money reaches us, so leave time for it.
  • Follow the order on the tracking page. The approved eVisa comes to your email as a PDF. Print it or keep it on your phone for check-in.

When the weekend tier does not run

Outside Friday to Sunday ICT the tier is not on the form and we cannot accept the order. It is also closed to anyone already inside Vietnam.

It stops on a Saturday or Sunday inside a Vietnamese public holiday break. On the calendar published so far, that means 6–7 February 2027 (Tết) and 4–5 September 2027 (National Day). The full calendar and last order times are at Vietnam public holidays and eVisa cut-offs.

What the price covers and what it cannot promise

The price includes the government fee of US$25 single or US$50 multiple entry, which we pay for you. Nothing is added at checkout.

We prepare, lodge and track the application. The Immigration Department decides the outcome, so is a target and not a guarantee. If an eligible application is refused, we refund our service fee. The government fee is generally not refundable once the application is submitted. The conditions are in our Refund Policy.

Applying yourself at the weekend

You can apply on the official portal, evisa.gov.vn, for only the government fee. The legal target is up to 3 working days for a complete, paid application. (51/2019/QH14) Saturday and Sunday are not working days. In practice, plan for 3–5 working days. (US Department of State — checked 2026-10-11) For an application sent on Saturday, that points to the middle of the following week or later, which is fine if your flight is further off.
