Vietnam · Thẻ tạm trú
Vietnam Temporary Residence Card.
The temporary residence card (Thẻ tạm trú) lets you live in Vietnam for 1–3 years and enter and leave without a separate visa. We assess your basis, assemble the dossier, and lodge it with the Immigration Department.
Who qualifies — your basis
A TRC is always issued on a basis. The common ones:
- Work-permit holders (or work-permit-exempt staff with the exemption letter).
- Investors and managers named on a Vietnamese company's licence.
- Foreigners married to, or the parent or child of, a Vietnamese citizen.
- Some other categories (lawyers, journalists, students, and more) — ask us.
Documents we'll help you assemble
- Passport valid for at least 13 months, with a valid entry / visa.
- Your basis document: work permit, investment / enterprise licence, or marriage / birth certificate.
- The sponsor's documents (employer or family member) and the declaration forms.
- Photos (2×3 cm, white background) and your temporary-residence registration.
Timeline
Once your basis (for example a work permit) and the sponsor's paperwork are in order, Immigration issues the card in roughly 5–7 working days. Card validity is tied to your basis — typically 1 to 3 years.
Pricing
The fee depends on the card length and your basis. Send us your details for a fixed quote — no payment until you accept it.
