Vietnam eVisa for Chinese Citizens
Flying soon but still no visa? Chinese citizens need a visa to enter Vietnam, and the eVisa is the fastest, simplest route. InTimeVisa specializes in urgent applications — in many cases results come back the same day. This guide covers the documents you need, processing times, and how to get an eVisa fast.
Do Chinese citizens need a visa to enter Vietnam?
Yes. China is not on Vietnam's visa-exemption list, so Chinese passport holders need a visa for each entry. The eVisa is the official electronic visa issued by the Immigration Department (Cục Quản lý xuất nhập cảnh), available as a 30-day or 90-day visa, single or multiple entry.
Note: the eVisa is only valid at international airports and the land/sea border gates designated for eVisa (not every border crossing). Check that the gate where you plan to enter is on the approved list.
Documents to prepare
- A passport valid for at least 6 months with at least 2 blank pages
- A clear photo/scan of your passport bio page
- A portrait photo on a white background, facing forward, no glasses
- Your intended date of entry and the border gate you plan to use
Processing time & the urgent option
An eVisa usually takes about 3–5 working days (sometimes up to 7 days depending on the period). If your departure is near, the urgent service can shorten this to 1–2 working days, and in many cases delivers a result the same day — depending on the caseload at the issuing authority.
InTimeVisa specializes in urgent cases for people who can't wait: submit, pay, and track online, with a dedicated person handling your application from start to finish.
